Hornby R066 LMS Duchess of Sutherland
This is a Hornby 4-6-2 Duchess Loco in its original box and packing, with instructions.
I purchased it new from a shop that was closing down about 35 years ago but it was never used.
I have checked that the motor runs (6v battery direct to brush holders) but I have no track to try it on.
You must assume that it will need the electrical contacts cleaned and the working parts oiled after all this time in storage.
