Service Manual For Bristol Taurus Aero Engine
This very interesting document consists of approximately 69 printed drawings showing views of the engine and the tools and equipment necessary to service it.
There are 13 typewritten sheets and most of the equipment drawings also have typed instructions on the reverse.
The main description of the engine itself is in on 33 sheets of hand-written notes. Reading these, it seems probable that they were copied from factory material issued by Bristols, rather than being notes by the writer.
All sheets measure 13" x 8" and are contained in a rather tatty soft card folder. Hand-written on the front is:-
Bristol Taurus Sleeve Valve Engine
631832 CPL Summers Fleet Air Arm
November 1943
The photos show a selection of pages - there are approximately 115 pages in total.
