Clarice Cliff Job Lot, Kelverne Jam Pot, Early Geometric Vase, Biarritz Cups
This lot comprises:-
Daffodil shape preserve pot in Kelverne pattern (also known as "Grey leaves".)
The pot has one large chip and a number of small nibbles around the rim. There are four small chips and a few minor scratches in the paintwork. The inside is stained.
There are the remains of the lid but it is a complete mess!
Two Biarritz cups and saucers.
One cup is not too bad but the conical one is chipped and badly cracked.
There is a crack in the centre of one of the saucers the other saucer has an odd-looking area of damage in one corner.
Early Geometric pattern vase (possibly a Rose Bowl shape number 234).
Approximately 15 cm diameter and 12 cm high.
Large piece missing from rim and paint is badly rubbed, especially the blue colour. Gilt Bizarre stamp mark suggests this was produced in the autumn of 1929.
All in all, a group of projects for you to practice and develop your restoration skills on.
