Clarice Cliff Gayday Trio - Cup, Saucer, Tea Plate
This is a very decorative set which displays well with its vibrant colours. There is not much damage considering the fact that is was probably used (and washed up) daily.
The cup is 8.8 cm diameter and in fair order.
The saucer is 14.5 cm diameter. There are a few tiny chips and scratches in the paintwork, the two marks close together in the green band probably being the worst.
The plate is 17.7 cm diameter. It has a chip at the edge on the underside which measures approximately 6 mm x 5 mm and some scratches on the brown centre. It is stamped for 1931.
I have tried to describe the wear as accurately as I can but please look carefully at the pictures before you bid.
