French Empire Style Clock
The case is made of spelter and sheet metal and appears to have been painted gold.
Some of the ornate parts have been broken off and reattached using epoxy resin. The front right foot has been broken off and lost. There is a crack in the dial. Having said all this, it is still a decorative object and it has some age to it.
The clock goes but will occasionally stop for no apparent reason. Just swinging the pendulum will restart it.
It is approximately 33cm wide, 36cm high, 12cm deep.
Postage.
I will only send this item to a U.K. address.
The carriage cost given is for mainland U.K. delivery. If you are located offshore or in a remote area (as defined by carriers) please email me for a carriage cost before biding.
The clock will be packed in a strong cardboard box which will be fitted out to suit this particular item. This is rather costly but I feel that good packaging is in the interests of both parties, I will not compromise on it.
The parcel will be sent by next working day delivery and will need to be signed for. Please note: I will need a contact telephone number for you in order to book the carrier.
Carriers will not insure this against damage in transit, but will insure against loss. If you require loss insurance, I will arrange this, but it will be an extra cost, based on the actual selling price.
