Unusual Brass Amal Carburettor, for Norton

This is unusual because it is a post-war type marked 276 AU/1BE which is normally made of die-cast zinc.
Because this one is made of brass, it would not look out of place on an earlier machine. 276 AU/1BE is correct for a Model 18, ES2 or 500T Norton 1946 - 1954. The choke diameter is 1 1/16" and the stub fitting diameter is 1 1/4". With suitable jets, needle and slide, this could also be usable on a range of other machines.
Note that it is not complete, you only get the parts you see in the pictures.
