30 Hour Longcase Clock Movement and Dial by Augustine Allen of Barnsley. C.1820
The movement and dial were both sympathetically restored about 25 years ago and after testing, were stored away and not used. There is now some light surface rust on a few of the steel parts and the brass has a slight tarnish but I am sure that it would run OK if re-oiled. Please note that there is also a recent scratch across the picture in the arch - see photograph.
The dial measures 13 1/4 inches wide by 18 3/4 inches high. The tip of the minute hand is missing. I do not have any other items for the clock, just what you see in the pictures.
I would prefer if this item was collected in person (near Gatwick Airport) but if necessary I will pack it and despatch by carrier with full insurance to a UK address only. This service is quite expensive due to the weight of the packing necessary for safe shipment and will cost more if you live in a remote area - email me for exact cost if you are unsure.
