AMAL Carburettor Body 289G/1AT, B.S.A
I believe this is the correct body for BSA B33 models from 1949-1955, but should be suitable for any other bike that used a 1 1/8" (28.58mm) bore AMAL 289. It is fitted with a jet block, throttle stop screw and pilot jet screw. I don't have any other parts for it.
I have removed the jet block to check for wear and it seems to have had very little use, neither can I see any external damage. The poor finish that you see in the pictures is chipping to the original silver lacquer, there is no corrosion of the zinc alloy from which it is made.
