Amal Brass Carburetter Body 289G/1AT for BSA
This carb. is shown in the Amal Applications List as being suitable for BSA M33, B33 and B34 1949-54.
I can't see any significant damage and the throttle slide wear is not excessive. There is no top cap, air slide or float chamber - just the parts you see in the pictures. The bore is 1 1/8 inch.
It is very unusual for Amal to have used a brass body at this late date. It may be usable as a replacement on much earlier machines but please satisfy yourself that it is suitable for your application.
