Unusual Amal Carburetter Body - AJS, Matchless, Douglas
The layout of the mounting flange suggests that this was intended for horizontal mounting as on some Matchless/AJS models or possibly for a Douglas where this layout was used but mounted vertically. Please make sure it is suitable for your machine before bidding.
The bore is 7/8". Throttle slides have not caused much wear in this body, the most I could measure with a telescopic gauge was about 0.005" on diameter.
The number stamped on the flange is indistinct but I think it is 75/151.
