AMAL Type 6 Brass Carburettor, Unusual Model
This brass carb is stamped 6/005/s and the bore is 15/16" (23.8mm). It is unusual in that the flange is vertical, not horizontal. I know that some Douglas models had this feature but maybe others did too - you tell me.
There does not seem to be much wear and the threads are all good. It has light vice-marks on the flange but does not seem to be distorted. The bottom of the flange has been filed off to clear something.
Obviously it is not complete so look carefully at the pictures - what you see is what you get.
