Lucas E3A Motorcycle Dynamo 1948
This looks a bit unusual as it has two tapped holed in the main body. Also, both the plastic end cover and the die-cast drive-end cover are unusual shapes. Look carefully at the picture as it may be specific to one make or model of motorcycle. The markings on the body are E3ARA.0.5-1, 200430A, 61, 1048 and the rotation is anticlockwise viewed from the drive end. The plating is in good condition. When I acquired it many years ago it was marked "O.K. 10/4/67" and it has remained unused ever since. I have connected it to a battery and it "motors" O.K, but as I have no way of checking its output properly, I cannot give a guarantee.
