4 - Way toolpost for 4.5" Boxford Lathe.
This is a quality item that I used on my own lathe for at least 20 years and it may be the original Boxford part. I am sure it could be fitted to many other types of lathe.
The block is about 3.125" square and is hardened. All the threads are in good order. The block rotates on the ratchet plate and a spring-loaded plunger allows the block to index 8 repeatable positions.
In order to use this item you will have to supply your own plate with a half inch BSW tapped hole to go into the T-slot on your compound slide. The mounting stud screws into this plate. You will also need a spanner to fit the tool clamping screws.
